| Welcome to What's Our Future? |
|
|
This website is dedicated to an open and anonymous discussion about what you think the future will bring.
All comments made must be associated with a Screen Name but no personal information is required.
When creating an account, an email address is optional and only used to send you a reminder if you forget your
username and/or password. I will not sell, give away or use in any way any email information you choose to provide.

This website is broken up into different topics & subtopics of discussion. Each topic represents a
general area of interest and can have any number of subtopics. All comments for a particular subtopic
are listed by date with the oldest at the top of the page and most current at the bottom, so that comments
can be read as they were entered (which is important since users may want to add a comment that references the one
that precedes it and thus build on a theme). When a topic requires more than one page, however, then the most current
comments appear on page one with older comments appearing on later pages. All comments by a particular user,
though, are listed in reverse date order with the most current appearing at the top and older comments
at the bottom (since here the order the comments were entered is not as important). By default only 20 comments are listed
per page, but this can be changed to any number you want. Also the default topic/subtopic that appears in the nav bar
can be selected. If there is a topic and/or subtopic that you are interested in that is not listed, feel free to create it.

For the HTML savvy user, when entering a comment you can use the bold <B> </B>, underline <U> </U> or
italics <I> </I> HTML tags to emphasize your text as well as the <BR> tag for a carriage return. No other
tags will be recognized. To display characters not on your keyboard, you can use the HTML special character sets that start
with &. (ie to display © type: ©)
